First of all, let me start out by saying that this was a truly awesome experience for hubby and me both at her concert and at the Meet and Greet. I had applied for a M&G for my hubby and one for myself ( just in case I did not get one and he did lol). To my surprise and delight we both got them and I was so excited! The day of the concert he informs me that he is not going to the M&G and I can go myself! I was really shocked because I know he likes Kellie but he was being Mr. Macho and I knew he was all talk so I shut up and when we met my daughter on Skype( she is in Saudi Arabia) she chewed him out and of course he relented and was very happy! They held the M&G outside in the fresh sunlight pre dusk evening right by the tour bus. ( I don't think it is the one she had when she was at Sony cuz I did not see "Faye " written on it, but it was one big huge Mama of a bus anyway!). There were not so many people chosen for M&G but a nice enough amount, among them, a little girl and her mom whom most of you have probably seen in a YOUTube video that has already been posted. Everyone was taking pics of her while we were all waiting for Kellie to come out of the bus, including my hubby and he also took a pic of me with the little girl. She was precious and had a sign "This is the Best Day of My life!". So Kellie came out looking natural and gorgeous as usual with a pair of jeans and a green top (which happened to be the same color as the one I was wearing!)> The minute she got off the bus she saw me and said, hey there! (Of course I have had meet and greets with her before and wearing an islamic scarf on my head so it is very easy to recognize me lol! ). We were not first in line and I did not want to be as I had a gift for Kellie from Saudi Arabia which was an "eye" bracelet on a red rope chain, similar to the necklace I gave her a couple of years ago. Plus, after I heard about Summer having breast cancer, I had another different but similar bracelet which I put in the bag for Kellie to give to Summer. So when it was our turn she said, hi how are you! So happy to see you! You are always such a bright light!". I nearly fainted when she said that! I introduced her to my hubby, Said, and she was gracious and charming and he was beaming ear to ear (right! The guy who was not going to the Meet and Greet!). We chatted, took our pic and she signed my CD and our copy of the Maxim Mag for hubby and then I asked her: "are we going to hear soon about a new record deal?" Iknow that is the question on the mind of every one of Kellie's fans and she said: "yes, very soon we are in negotiations right now". So now you have it: in negotiations, which means a new record contract on the way! I was soooooooooooooo happy to hear that! We had phenomenal seats right smack in the second row orchestra practically on top of the stage and strangely enough, the two seats in front of us in the first row were absolutely empty! So we were really a part of the whole show and felt it. It makes a big difference to be so close to feel every heart beat of the show, and it was the first time we had ever been so close! It was a real blessing, a gift from God, really! Let me say that I have never, ever seen Kellie performing better and it was the best show I have ever seen her do! Her voice, energy, communication with the audience, movements and showmanship were absolutely amazing. She came out with LHOTHW and........ she entered coming thru the audience shaking hands, high fiving and kissing fans! I had never seen her do that either, before. I don't remember the exact order of the songs but I will try to remember each and every one of them: Lucky girl, Things that Never Cross a Man's Mind, DYKYB, MMFILA, Tough, Stop Cheating on Me, WTW, ULTHT, White Lighting cover, You 're NOt Woman Enough to take my Man, I Wonder, Best Days, and there might of been one more that I don't remember. Then she came back for an encore after crazy sceaming and clapping from the Audience with Small Town Girl where she again bantered thru the audience, kissing high fiving and shaking hands and closed with Red High Heels! This Kellie of ours, after posting that she is sorry that she had not been 100 percent, was a 1000 percent last night. There were very emotional moments where she thanked her fans from the bottom of her heart and said she never takes anything for granted and she knows she is up there doing what she loves because of her fans! She got a gal named Brittany on the stage with her hugging and kissing her and thanking her for always being at her shows and talked about all the smiling faces that are both familiar and not and then she looked right at me and said, and you, too, and thanked me for her bracelet! Second near syncope of the night for me! Oh, and I forgot to tell you: during the M& G when I told her there was a bracelet for Summer also, she said OMG thank you so much; I can't wait to give it to her:! This, guys was Kellie at her best and finest. We all know of her dedication, love and talent, and i cannot imagine why country radio has been so unkind to her because she is an amazing talent! She has matured and gotten better than ever! I really hope, along with all of you, that the new record deal execs will promote her like she deserves. Hope yall were not bored with this long review; I tried to make it as true to life as possible. It was an amazing night and I promise to upload some pics as soon as my son puts them on the pc.
