Hey there Kellie Fans! On Monday (April 23rd) I went to see Kellie at the Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the Kat Country Jam Benefit Concert for St. Jude's and I wanted to share my experience with all of you! Kellie was sharing the stage with other country stars Craig Morgan, Lauren Alaina, and Hunter Hayes. I was really impressed with the other artists but of course I was there for Kellie! She started off with "Tough" and noticed my friend Katy and I right away! We had pretty good spots and could see her really well. While singing she waved at us and once she was done with "Tough" she looked at me and mouthed "Hey baby" and "I like your shirt!" Because there were a total of 4 artists they took turns singing a song and just went down the row and then started again. Kellie really interacted well with the other artists by making comments about their music and she sang along with a couple of their songs. Kellie got to sing a total of 6 songs, in addition to "Tough" she also sang "Stop Cheating on Me" "100 Proof" "Best Days of Your Life" "Red High Heels" and "I Wonder" in that order. As always her voice was flawless, she did absolutely wonderful...as expected! I got a good bit of pictures of the concert, but you'll have to excuse the quality. I had to use my friend's phone. After the concert my friends and I went out the the buses (Kellie's bus wasn't there...she was in a car because she flew in) There were A LOT of people waiting around, mostly younger girls waiting for Hunter Hayes. Hunter came out first and signed and took pictures with every fan that wanted it. Here is my picture with him... And I also got him to sign my ticket... After Hunter came and left a lot of the younger fans left also which made it much easier to get to Kellie when she came out. By the time she did come out there wasn't that many people still waiting but we waited for everyone to get a chance to see Kellie and we approached her once almost everyone had left so we could spend a little more time with her. We walked up to her and said hello, Kellie said "I saw you in the audience...I liked your shirt!" I said thanks and asked her to sign the bag I made and she said "absolutely!" We then took some pictures and talked about the concert and her new album. Another really cool Kellie fan, Brandon, gave Kellie a gift which consisted of a cross necklace and a bracelet. Kellie LOVED it and talked about how her and Kyle collect crosses. I then asked Kellie if she still had the mason jar I gave her and she said "of course I have the painted mason jar you gave me at the wal-mart in Monroe! I ought to kick your *** for making me cry in front of all those people!" Everyone laughed and she also said it was one of the most sentimental gifts she has ever received and that she keeps it on her bus. Totally made my night! She's the best! I then told Kellie that I've told my friends that if my husband doesn't carve our names into a rocking chair from Cracker Barrel then I won't marry him! She laughed and said "every woman needs a good man, and every man needs a good woman!" Brandon then mentioned to Kellie that he would see her on Saturday and she asked if I was going...unfortunately I can not make it but I told her any time she's in my area she better expect me there! haha! She then made sure everyone was happy with their pictures and autographs and thanked us all for coming out and we said our goodbyes. As always it was really good to see Kellie and she continued to be beyond nice to all the fans waiting to see her. She has such a positive attitude and is an absolute joy to be around! Hope you all enjoyed my story, please feel free to leave questions/comments! I love reading them! My picture with Kellie... My friend Katy's picture with Kellie...
